The third instalment in the Indiana Jones series, following Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) was once again directed by Steven Spielberg. This time, Indy embarks on a quest to find his missing father, a scholar obsessed with the Holy Grail. The search turns into a race against Nazi forces who are also seeking the Grail’s power, and culminates in a series of trials that test Indy’s knowledge, faith, and restraint.
